How it works:

The Laura Fund exists to fund experimental, unorthodox, and innovative ideas in the search for a cure for MS.

Since its inception in 2004, The Laura Fund has been available to researchers within the MS program at Oregon Health & Sciences University.

We are now eagerly accepting any proposals for research and innovation that might advance progress toward a cure for MS.

Because time is of the essence, we require a maximum of a one-page proposal. And we promise to review your application and share a verdict within 30 days. If accepted, your funding will arrive immediately.

Our science advisory committee will review applications led by esteemed neuroscientist Dr. Dennis Bourdette.

Laura Fund grants typically range from $50,000 to $75,000 yearly for one or two years. We currently fund two to four projects a year, but we hope to expand that number rapidly.

How to Apply:

In order to apply for funding, please email a one-page synopsis of your proposal and any supporting materials you think our review board should see to joani.wardwell@thelaurafund.org.
